Get to Know Courtney

Courtney brings more than 20 years of experience in learning and development to JB Training Solutions. As President, she leads strategic planning, human resources, instructional design, and business development, partnering with clients including Airbnb, Sara Lee Frozen Bakery, LEK Consulting, and McShane.

A lifelong learner, Courtney shares “Stay Curious” moments with her team, often inspired by the latest business book or a long bike ride. She is the co-author of two business books, including Manager 3.0: A Millennial’s Guide to Rewriting the Rules of Management, and her insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News & World Report, WGN, and Chief Learning Officer. Courtney currently serves on the board of SHRM Charleston and previously served on the board of Chicago SHRM.

When she’s not on her bike or hitting the trails, Courtney is planning her next adventure, tackling a new 30-day challenge, checking items off a bucket list with her two daughters, or exploring the outdoors in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, where she lives with her family.
