Get to Know Courtney

Courtney brings over fifteen years of experience in the training and development field to JB Training Solutions. She leads our strategic planning, human resources, consulting work, and business development, and partners with clients including Google, XPO Logistics, TTX, and Whole Foods. Courtney is passionate about learning, and leads “Mr. Miyagi Moments” with her team, often inspired by the latest business book or a long bike ride. She is the co-author of two business books, including Manager 3.0: A Millennial’s Guide to Rewriting the Rules of Management (Amacom 2013), and she has shared her advice for The Wall Street Journal, US News & World Report, WGN, and Chief Learning Officer. Courtney serves on the board of the Chicago Society for Human Resource Management and volunteers on the Human Capital Committee for Chicago Scholars.

When she’s not biking around the city, Courtney is planning her next trip, trying a new 30-day challenge, reading books to her two children in silly voices, or sprinkling Tony Chachere’s on anything and everything she eats.

Courtney has both flown and jumped out of a plane (not on the same trip)
